EXTERIOR CHANGES TO YOUR HOME

All changes to the exterior of your home, no matter how small, requires written approval from the board of directors prior to the work commencing. To obtain written approval, you must email us details about the proposed change and provide us with samples/photos/brochures showing the colors and materials that will be used. Requests for approval must be emailed to hillsideridgecommasso@gmail.com. We will do our best to review and approve proposed changes in a timely manner, but please note that we have up to 30 days to do so pursuant the Association’s governing documents. If you fail to get board approval for exterior changes to your home, you may be required to redo the work at your own expense.

Please remember that we are a self-managed community by an all-volunteer board with full-time jobs, and hope that everyone appreciates the time and effort that it takes us to improve the community and make it a better place for all to live (which can be a full-time job in itself). We do this without compensation and at no additional cost to you, because we care about our property. And we are happy to continue doing this as long as we see that others also care. Continued disregard of our rules may give us no choice but to discontinue the self-management of our property and hire an outside management company to do the same work for a significant monthly fee. If you want to keep fees down and/or want to show us that you also care, the best way to do that is by complying with the rules.

Homeowners that rent out their property - it is your responsibility to ensure all residents understand and comply with these rules.
